Our Gap Analysis feature looks rather similar to the X-Ray feature, but the truth is that they are two fundamentally different tools.

But, the good thing is that those two functionalities work together.

Here is how you navigate to the Gap Analysis feature.

1. When you choose a project, you click on the Gap Analysis that is next to the X-Ray feature. This will show you a screen that is similar to the X-Ray page. The next thing you need to do is click on New Gap Analysis.

2. When you do that, you will be able to upload your pricing document for the project. When you do that, you simply click the Gap analysis button.

3. You can, of course, exclude certain documents if you want. For example, trade bills that you have sent out to the supply chain in drawings and docs.

4. Once you do this, the system will show the differences between the pricing document that you input in the Gap Analysis and the original project documents. This is the Gap.

5. You can browse through the shown results and easily find the required documents.

The important thing to know is that you can upload your estimate at the beginning or at the end of creating a project. Either way, it will show you the things you may have missed and this can be valuable.
